Alfred Edgar Coppard (1878 – 1957) was an English author, noted for his poetry and short stories. During the early 1920 she was in Oxford and was part of a literary group, the New Elizabethans, who met in a pub to read Elizabethan drama. W. B. Yeas sometimes attended the meetings. This is Copra's second published book and one of the earliest works published by the Golden Cockerel Press, which has set up as a cooperative in Waltham Saint Lawrence in 1920.
