Edinburgh: c1800. Etching on cream wove paper, 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches (82 x 62 mm), narrow margins. In very good condition with light uniform toning. Adhered at three corners to archival laid paper. A reverse image copy after van Ostade etched by David Deuchar, from A Collection of Etchings After the Most Eminent Masters of the Dutch and Flemish Schools particularly Rembrandt, Ostade, Cornelius Bega and Van Vliet, Edinburgh: 22 December, 1803.
