Folio, 17 1/4 x 19 1/2 inches (440 x 293 mm); [8], 176, [4] pp. 19th Century quarter-binding in tan calf, boards covered in marbled paper, gilt title and decorations on spine; edges rubbed and corners bumped; front hinge partially split but binding is square and solid; generous margins with some marginal restoration from leaf 19/4 to end, else internally clean and bright.
Provenance: dedication inked by Ludovico Florio (March 1862) on verso of second leaf; Barone Zappalà Asmundo (paper label on spine); Carlo Antinori (bookplate pasted inside front board).
