Copenhagen: Karl Stenders, c1900. Heliogravure on heavyweight cream wove paper with a deckle edge, 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches (135 95 mm); sheet 6 7/8 x 5 1/2 inches (175 x 140 mm), full margins. In good condition with uniform age tone.
"Mignon" was a commercial series of small-format art reproductions. While they were "fine art" in marketing, they were produced using photomechanical means to ensure consistency across large print runs.
