The artist's notes appearing on other pages of the sketchbook this drawing originates from indicate that these objects are housed at the Louvre and are from the Davillier collection, a significant bequest that was made by Baron Jean-Charles Davillier. The collection is the cornerstone of the museum's French Decorative Art collection. These works are likely housed in the Richelieu wing.
