c1820. Pen and ink in grayish black ink and watercolor on handmade, watermarked Russell & Co. 1810 wove paper with a deckle edge, 10 x 13 3/4 (255 x 350 mm), the full sheet. Uniform toning, and some wear along the extreme sheet edges.
