The Times Building
The Society of Iconophiles, 1904. Lithograph in black ink on tissue-thin, laid Japon paper with an anchor and numeral 48 watermark, 8 3/4 x 5 13/16 inches (222 x 147 mm), full margins. Signed in pencil, lower-center margin. With the Schutze Marke blindstamp in the lower left corner. Small areas of skinning with associated loss in the lower margin, and at the top left corner, both well outside of the image area. Small spot of light discoloration below the blindstamp. Minor damage to all four corners from a previous mount, also well outside of the image area. The area within the plate is in good condition and bright. Printed by Frederick Goulding, from the portfolio Lithographs of New York, published 1905.
