Paris: A. Durand, 1878. Etching on watermarked Van Gelder Portfolio cream laid paper,10 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches (260 x 183 mm); sheet 14 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches (360 x 260 mm), full margins. Minor mat tone, as well as adhesive residue from a former mount at the extreme right and bottom sheet edges on the recto (well outside of the image area). A lovely, dark impression.
