Double-sided study for a painting of robed figures
Pencil on cream wove paper, 5 3/4 x 7 3/8 inches (145 x 190 mm). Uniform toning and scattered areas of discoloration throughout. There are multiple inscriptions in pencil on both the recto and the verso, including the name "Solomon," which appears twice, perhaps in reference to the British Pre-Raphealite Simeon Solomon.
