Paris: L'Artiste, 1865. Etching on Chine collé adhered to white wove paper, as issued. 2 9/16 x 3 5/8 inches (650 x 930 mm), full margins. In very good condition with some minor areas of light yellow discoloration in the margins, well out side of image area. With the blind stamp of the publisher in the lower left margin.

L’Artiste was a weekly illustrated review published in Paris from 1831 to 1904, supplying "the richest single source of contemporary commentary on artists, exhibitions and trends from the Romantic era to the end of the nineteenth century."
