Paris: Pierre Langlume, c 1820. Lithograph on cream wove paper, 13 7/8 x 9 3/4 inches (350 x 247 mm), margins trimmed. Scattered foxing and surface soiling with handling creases and an approximately 3-inch vertical edge tear at the top center sheet edge that extends downward into the image area. The likeness seen here is taken from a figure appearing in Raffaello's masterpiece painting The Marriage of St. Joseph.
